Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I place a corporate, catering, or special event order?

Yes — we’d love to help make your event memorable! Madison Garde accepts corporate, wedding, and special event orders for cookies, cupcakes, or mixed pastry boxes.

To inquire about pricing, lead times, and customization options, please email us at madisongarde@outlook.com with your event date, guest count, and flavor preferences.

Note: Large or custom orders require advance notice and a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your date. All final balances are processed securely through Square Payments.

  • How long will my cookies stay fresh?

All Madison Garde cookies are baked fresh in small batches using quality ingredients and no preservatives.

Best enjoyed: within 3–5 days of pickup or delivery.

Storage: keep sealed in an airtight container (e.g., Tupperware or Ziplock bag) at room temperature.

Freezing: cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. To enjoy, let thaw at room temperature or reheat for 15–30 seconds in the microwave.

Note: We recommend avoiding refrigeration, as it can alter texture and moisture balance.

  • Are your cookies nut-free or tree-nut free?

Our cookies are prepared in a home kitchen licensed under the Texas Cottage Food Law (License No. 4686) and may come into contact with ingredients labeled “may contain nuts” or “processed in a facility that handles nuts.”

While certain recipes do not intentionally include peanuts or tree nuts, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of trace allergens due to shared surfaces and tools.

If you have a severe allergy, we recommend erring on the side of caution and not consuming our products.

  • Are your gluten-free cookies safe for people with celiac disease or gluten allergies?

We occasionally offer gluten-friendly options made with gluten-free ingredients and carefully cleaned utensils and surfaces.
However, because our home kitchen also handles wheat-based ingredients, cross-contact may occur.

For individuals with celiac disease or severe gluten allergies, we do not recommend consumption. Please enjoy our products only at your own discretion.

  • Do you offer pickup or local delivery?

Yes! Madison Garde offers local pickup in San Antonio, Texas and at select San Antonio-area pop-ups and markets. Pickup details and times are confirmed via your order confirmation email after checkout. Limited local delivery is also available in the San Antonio metropolitan area for select drop dates. Delivery eligibility and fees will appear automatically at checkout.

Note: Because we operate under the Texas Cottage Food Law, we currently do not ship outside Texas or across state lines.

  • Why is my payment processed through Square?

All online payments made through our Squarespace storefront are processed securely using Square Payments, a trusted PCI-compliant processor that encrypts all financial data.
We never see, store, or retain your full card information.

You’ll see “SQ MADISON GARDE” or “SQUARE MULTIBANDED LLC” appear on your billing statement — both refer to our business, Multibanded LLC (dba Madison Garde).

  • Why is there no shipping option at checkout?

Because Madison Garde operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law, we are not permitted to ship baked goods via postal or courier service outside of Texas. All sales must occur directly between baker and consumer, meaning pickup or hand-delivery is required.

If you’re outside our local delivery range, stay tuned — we’re working on future expansion through licensed commercial kitchen operations.

  • Can I change or cancel my order?

Cancellations or modifications must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery time.
After that window, we may have already begun baking your order and cannot guarantee changes or refunds.

To request a change, please email madisongarde@outlook.com with your order number and details. Approved refunds will be processed via Square Payments within 5–10 business days.

  • What should I know about allergens and food safety?

All Madison Garde products are made under Texas Cottage Food Permit No. 4686 in a home kitchen.

Labeling disclosure (required by Texas law): “This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department.”

We follow safe food-handling procedures, but please note that we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
